Micro – blogging is a communication process by which individuals post updates limited to 140 words about themselves to whosoever have subscribe to that site to receive updates.
Twitter which is the first and most popular micro-blogging service is useful in so many ways.
The 140 word limitation is good in the sense that it saves time compared to if you had to type say 400 word which help a learner improve on their writing skill and ability to write a good and attractive blog and poems. Unlike email, twitters are an opportunity for learner to clear their doubts by communicating with experts and a wide audience.
It enables students to collaborate on issues such as problem solving as well as project based learning and acts as a means of sharing research information.
